Custom Les Pauls
Ashba is known for intricately designed and customized Gibson Les Pauls. This pair are in the minority as they do not feature any custom graphics, however both feature Ashba's preferred mod: a pickup selector switch near the control knobs and a kill switch in place of the standard pickup selector switch.

Custom Les Pauls
This duo of customized Les Pauls shows off Ashba's design chops. The guitarist designs all of his graphics and even has a creative agency called Ashba Media. The guitar on the left was a new design for 2011's Rock in Rio show, while the one on the right features Chrome Bone graphics like those found in his Ovation Demented Collection. Both feature Ashba's preferred mod: a pickup selector switch near the control knobs and a kill switch in place of the standard pickup selector switch.

Leatherface and Tattoo
Ashba's Leatherface Les Paul has 3-D molded designs and real sinew stitching built off of a goldtop Gibson Les Paul Classic. In addition to Ashba's pickup selector/kill switch mod, this guitar has a tone control removed to accommodate the skull artwork. The Tattoo Les Paul features Ashba's preferred mod: a pickup selector switch near the control knobs and a kill switch in place of the standard pickup selector switch.

Distressed Les Pauls
Some of the guitars that don't receive custom graphics are still put through a treacherous distressing process. These two feature Ashba's preferred mod: a pickup selector switch near the control knobs and a kill switch in place of the standard pickup selector switch, as well as considerable stage wear. Ashba has been known to extinguish cigarettes on his guitars onstage, accounting for the unique wear patterns on the guitar on the right.

Perhaps his most and least distressed guitars side-by-side, both the Les Paul Standard and "Burnt" Les Paul feature Ashba's preferred mod: a pickup selector switch near the control knobs and a kill switch in place of the standard pickup selector switch.

Ashba's crystal-encrusted Les Paul and "National Anthem" Les Paul both feature Ashba's preferred mod: a pickup selector switch near the control knobs and a kill switch in place of the standard pickup selector switch. Not surprisingly, Ashba uses the National Anthem Les Paul to pay the National Anthem.

Ovation Demented Collection Ashbaland
The Ashbaland's Ovation is one of four limited-edition guitars in Ovation's DJ Ashba line. The guitars are mid-depth Ovations with bass side soundholes, custom Ashba inlay and an OP4BT preamp.

DJ Ashba's rack
Ashba's rack is stocked with two Furman Power Conditioners, Shure VA 845 wireless distribution system, three Shure UR 4D dual wireless receivers, Voodoo Lab Ground Control, and an Electro-Harmonix Talking Machine and Electro-Harmonix POG2. He uses Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier 100-watt heads (not pictured) running direct into the PA.

Pédales d'effets
On the Floor, Ashba uses a Morley Wah and a Pro Co Panic button, which allows him to mute the mic signal to the house and assign it to another location, like his guitar tech.
